Summer is officially here! This is the time for concerts and late night drives and frolicking around different cities in search for new and exciting things! This kind of atmosphere calls for some different music, some stuff to really get you going, and set the vibe for summer fun. So here is the June playlist:) We usually try to create a mix of slow and upbeat songs, but since it's truly summer, this playlist is much more fun than calm. How could we resist. We had to include our favorite girl bands and artists: Hinds, Rilo Kiley, Lykke Li, Blondie, Courtney Barnett, and HAIM!!! We just saw HAIM at the pageant last week and it was the most inspired, well-performed, impressive concert we had ever been to. We seriously encourage you to check these sisters out because they are so freakin talented. Drake's new album is killer, and Too Good, featuring Rihanna is amazing. If you're driving, crank some Bronze Radio Return, Growlers, or Modern Pleasure. And yes, summer is also for relaxing... so for some chillness, take a listen to that of alt-J, Frank Ocean, Angus and Julia Stone, or our latest discovery, Stone Fox. Listen to them all!
