A Different Kind of Christmas

This year's holiday season was a unique one.  With my dad being a pilot, you can never be quite sure when he will be around and when he won't.  Unfortunately, this year he had to work on christmas eve and christmas day.  Because of that, my family celebrated christmas a few days early.  Usual traditions were forced to be changed and everything felt a bit different, but not necessarily for the worse.  On actual christmas day, my sisters, mom, and I went to Mini Ha-Ha park and spent the day exploring and photographing each other like we love to do.  It was such a beautiful day, and in some ways it was nice to do our own thing while all the holiday festivities happened around us.

Wishing you happy holidays and a wonderful new year!

Witchy. Wicked. Wondrous.

"There was no where to go but everywhere, so just keep on rolling under the stars."

There are times when we simply must put all else aside and escape to the beckoning calls of nature.  Even with the bite of winter, beauty is everywhere.  It is easy to take things for granted, but taking a closer look at things can really remind us to appreciate things and see how truly wondrous this world is.  Happy Monday.

Moody Eyes

There's nothing like a quickie photoshoot to add a little fun to our day.  We love love love playing around with strange makeup choices and pops of color and when mixed with afternoon light streaming through our parents bedroom windows, we had the perfect atmosphere too.  A dash of silver and a stripe of blue and the mystery and moodiness really began to show in Molly's eyes.  We live for these intimate, spur-of-the-moment shots.
