33,000

While were busy capturing beauty on ground level, our Dad is capturing it from 33,000 feet in the air.  He is a pilot, and although he's gone a lot traveling, he always keeps us updated with his beyond amazing pictures.  When we ask him to say something about these images, he simply says, "This is what I do all day.  Fly around and take cool pictures", with a grin on his face.  It may be just another day of work for him, but they are absolutely stunning, and everyone should enjoy them.

Easy

Because it's too hot and humid to put any  more effort in than a pair of jeans and some messy hair.  These girls know how to work that undone kind of beauty in the best way and we are totally inspired..

Fashion aside, music is a driving force in our lives.  There is a song for every season, moment, feeling.. it carries us through life.  Whether it's finding new artists to listen to, or looking back on old ones, sharing music never ever gets old.  What we have below doesn't begin to cover the array of music we love, but its a playlist of some of the songs we've been playing on repeat lately.  Some are old favorites like Angus and Julia Stone and Alt-J, others, like Sales, Lolawolf, and Bahari are brand new, and worthy of obsession.  Take a listen- we will be sure to update our music interests more and more.  And comment any suggestions you have! We're always looking for new stuff:)) Enjoy.

POP

Woah.. this shoot feels like forever ago.  May 23rd, my 19th birthday, of course we had to shoot! We chose the graphic background of a graffiti wall and a painted pipe to make our outfits pop.  Focusing on elements like subtle punk hair, mirrored sunnies, a vintage army jacket.. it all came together here.  Maggie's look was especially vibin here so we focused on her and got some beautiful shots.  Enjoy <333

Escape

So we haven't posted on the blog in a while, but we have so much content to share now and will keep it coming more frequently, promise!
A few weeks ago was the fourth of July, possibly the best weekend of the entire year in my opinion.  Usually days filled with festive outfits, good food, late nights, and dazzling fireworks.  Im Webster Groves, blocks are packed with everyone you know watching the parade, and then house hopping from party to party. Loud music and laughter complementing it all.  This is what makes it the best time of the year.  This year however, was a bit different.  In fact, I was  entirely removed from any sort of Webster fourth of July festivities.  Instead of the norm, I last- minute drove about an hour and a half away to my friend, and fellow doofy kook', Kelly's farm.  We're talking no wifi, starry sky, dirt road kind of fun.  Completely escaping tradition.  We did it up good, had a giant bonfire, road around on four-wheelers, slept in enos high up in the trees of a forest, and of course, did a major photoshoot.  We kept it simple, patriotic colors, nothing crazy, and let the light and the beautiful scenery complement and make the photos. I hope you enjoy.  More updates to come :)

On January 10th, 2018 I attended a concert for a very talented band, Tennis.  I decided to go alone. The definition of alone is “having no ...
