Sylvan Esso. Electrifying, catchy, raw... and our latest music obsession. Theirs is the kind of music you are immediately drawn to. Without knowing the lyrics or hearing the chorus, there is a kind of magnetic energy filled in each and every beat that engages you from the start. After hearing 'Coffee', their single, I was immediately obsessed. There is a easiness and truth to the lyrics of it, but mixed with electric/pop backgrounds, there is another dimension of sound. The indie-pop duo has been called a mix between organic folk, electro folk, and indie pop, blending hypnotic moody sounds with bright and bouncy ones, but whatever it's called, it's SO good. You've got to listen- they've been playing on repeat around here for days, and these are our favorites :))
